Rebuilding Cost

We assess the re-building cost of houses for the purposes of buildings insurance.  This involves an inspection of the property to establish the size and nature of the building from which the replacement cost for insurance purposes is calculated in accordance with current cost data and guidance from the Building Cost Information Service of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Being insured for the correct sum avoids claims being “averaged down” if you are under insured and on the other hand avoids paying for more insurance than is required.

We also undertake remedial building works to properties in connection with a buildings insurance claim.
